HTS Labs

For Sale: ATRAS R4

Sorter with 10 compartments

The ATRAS R4 is a device that we at HTS Labs have been using for the separation, registration, and sorting of non-centrifuged primary in-vitro diagnostic (IVD) tubes containing blood or urine samples. We are now offering one of our ATRAS R4 units for sale.

The ATRAS R4 has been operated exclusively by experts since its acquisition and has been inspected and prepared for resale.

Automatic Separation and Sorting: The ATRAS R4 automates the process of separating bulk arriving tubes, registering them, and directing them into specific collection containers according to predefined rules, either originating from the Laboratory Information System (LIS) or stored on the device.

Modular Design for Maximum Flexibility: The modular construction of the ATRAS R4 allows easy retrofitting with additional modules. Expand the device with additional bulk modules or the RS2 Rack & Bulk Output module to ensure compatibility with the latest developments from T&O LabSystems.

Versatile Configurations: Each device can be equipped with up to 5 target bin modules, providing 10 target bins plus an external container for questionable samples (SIQ). The basic configuration includes at least one bulk module with two target bins. Additionally, there is the option to expand the device using the "Extension Module" from T&O LabSystems.

Acceptance of Common Tube Types: The ATRAS R4 accepts commonly used cylindrical tubes in clinical laboratories. It is essential that all tubes are reliably sealed, horizontally transportable, and non-sticky. Caps must be made of solid plastic, as rubber caps are not allowed to minimize the failure rate.
